Will you join us?
Mission Statement
Unite the Church of Lee County to pray as one Church for an outpouring of God’s Spirit and divine favor to revive the Church and awaken the lost to the total sustaining power, provision and purposes of God Almighty.
"If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land." 2 Chron. 7:14 AMP
In 2 Chronicles 7:14 the Lord has given us access to the promise to heal our land. He decreed it and we can access it.
Vision
Pray Lee County is an effort to link over 100 churches in uniting their prayers to be prayed over a period of 40 days, 24 hours per day from August 10th to September 19th.
This Holy calling will be led by individual churches as they challenge and encourage people to sign up to pray for one hour a day or week for 40 days through Prayer Coordinators in their local church. The people who pray will be praying in their own homes or businesses, leaving no hour uncovered for the full 40 days.
Strategy
Rally churches with the 17 pre-existing Fire Districts to unify the prayers they are praying; recruit 5-7 (100+) churches in each region to pray for 40 days, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week - praying specific unified petitions to the Lord.
Tactics
- Organize the people of God through their own church and/or business affiliations.
- Organize through grids in the 17 Fire Districts mapped out by State of Florida for Lee County
- Encourage and support churches to take ownership of their district—link arms with other churches and business leaders.
- Each church shall encourage and lead it's members to fill one hour time slots to cover 24 hours per day for 7 days per week for 40 days.
- Smaller churches can combine for effective coverage in a district.
- Larger church can lend missionary support to smaller churches that cannot get internal coverage or unity.
