A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Beauty From Ashes is thankful for all of our volunteers, donors, staff and friends who have partnered with us in our efforts to abolish slavery and bring restoration to the victims over the past 6 years. We want you to know we are family because of Jesus. We are grateful for you. Please take time and reflect upon the above scripture. Shout, worship, know . . . these are all actions of gratitude. Thanksgiving is a great time to think on our country and its history. It's also an awesome time to remind ourselves of how incredible our Father is. The psalmist has given us a model of a thankful heart. Let's take the holiday to eat, and be merry with family and friends and also enter God's presence with thanksgiving and praise. We hope that you will take time to be with your Savior and be glad. We don't “have to” worship our Father, we get to!!! Praise His awesome name who has taken us from the miry clay and set our feet upon the rock.
With love and gratefulness in this reflective season,
Steve and Julie Shematz and the Beauty From Ashes™ FREEdom™ Team
