Fort Myers Strip Club OutREACHes, Moldova, Upcoming Events & More!

STRIP CLUB OUTREACHES:  Fort Myers, FL.  This Thursday the Beauty From Ashes (BFA) outREACH team will be delivering outREACH gift bags to the employees of a local strip club and on Saturday, March 12th they will be serving up a home cooked meal from the locker room of their "adopted" strip club in addition to delivering gift bags.  Gift bags include bibles, candles, DVDs, makeup, toiletry items, and St. Patrick's Day candies.  To view these gifts and care packages, for victims of commercialized sexual exploitation and sex trafficking, assembled on Saturday, March 5th:  CLICK HERE  Please keep the outREACHes, those we are reaching, and the outREACH team in your prayers.  

BFA VOLUNTEER GOES TO MOLDOVA:

"When I was twelve, I felt like God was calling me to do something about human trafficking, I just didn’t know what. Then, about two years ago, right before the beginning of my senior year of high school, I went to a symposium at FGCU about the topic to research for my senior project about it. There, I met Julie [Shematz]. A few months later I called to ask about volunteer opportunities. It started with me helping a beautiful young girl unpack her clothing after trying to get out of the industry. Most of the time, however, I did little things like wrapping gifts and posting things on the Facebook fan page and twitter. I was very happy to see God use me in whatever way possible.  As time progressed, I took on more responsibility as food coordinator and I am now in the process of organizing a fund raiser for Beauty from Ashes™. God has truly blessed this ministry and I am thankful to be a part of it."
