Strip Club OutREACH, National Training, Breaking Free, Gift Assembly & More!


STRIP CLUB OUTREACH THIS SATURDAY:  On August 13th the Beauty From Ashes™ (BFA)  outREACH team will be serving up a home cooked Italian pasta meal to the employees of our local "adopted" strip club here in Fort Myers, FL.  Please keep the team in your prayers.  

BFA NATIONAL TRAINING:  Mark your calendars now for January 11-14, 2012!  We will be launching our new and improved strip club, XXX, and sex trafficking outREACH and ministry training here in Fort Myers, FL.  Since 2003, BFA has been doing strip club outREACHes and in 2005 we piloted our national training in Indianapolis, IN. Since then we've trained numerous pastors, churches, and ministries from across the nation how to implement our unique models of outREACH and what to expect when providing aftercare to survivors.  In 2010, we received a capacity building grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to improve our training curriculum.  And it's no coincidence that January is the national human trafficking awareness month.....more news coming soon!  

BREAKING FREE LIFE SKILLS & SUPPORT GROUP:  Wednesdays at Barry University 1-3pm.  For women who are currently in the sex industry and for those who have been in it.  Child care and lunch provided.  Registration required. OUTREACH GIFT & CARE PACKAGE ASSEMBLY RESCHEDULED TO FRIDAYS:  On the first and second Fridays of the month from 9am-noon we will be meeting in Room 500-5 of Barry University, the corporate headquarters of BFA, to inventory beauty supplies and assemble outREACH and care packages. We will be meeting this Friday to assemble 50-100 gifts that will be distributed to victims of commercialized sexual exploitation and human sex trafficking. Last month we distributed over 25 outREACH gifts in a strip club and shipped two huge care package boxes to women residing in a safehome out of state.  
 We are also seeking gift items such as handmade crafts and items, Bibles, journals, inspirational books, etc. See our Amazon Wish List  for book details.
