BREAKING FREE BIBLE STUDY: Beginning Wednesday, November 17th, 1pm-3pm, Barry University, Room 500-1, we will be presenting Beth Moore's Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories bible study through February 16, 2011. We are seeking mature, stable, Christian women to attend this study that are willing to provide discipleship to the women to whom we've been reaching out in the area. If you are interested in fulfilling Titus 2:3-4 and the Great Commission, or you are a sex worker or survivor desiring to acquire life skills and learn about who you designed to be, please contact Julie Shematz for registration. Free lunch will be served.
CNA TRAINING: BFA in partnership with ABM University & Theological Seminary we are offering full scholarships for certified nursing assistants. No high school diploma is needed, if client can pass minimal testing of 8th grade reading level. Career placement assistance and vocational rehabilitation services will also be provided. CAR NEEDED FOR SURVIVOR: Thanks to our generous partners, we have raised $700 for the human sex trafficking survivor, single mother, that we told you about 3 weeks ago. We sill need another $800 to purchase the $1500 car for her to use as transportation. Will you please consider giving a tax deductible donation today? FURNITURE NEEDED: Washer and Dryer, Living Room Furniture- Coffee Table, Sofa and Chairs, Dining Table and Chairs, 2 Nightstands, Vacuum Cleaner and 4-5 Lamps are needed for a family that relocated from South Bend, Indiana to Fort Myers to serve BFA. The couple, who both have college degrees (Elementary Education and History), are also in need of employment. PRAY FOR BFA: Please keep our outREACH this weekend in your prayers and the precious individuals we are establishing relationships with, as well as traveling mercies for team that travels cross state to participate. May the women we reach out to be set free, have a hunger for God's Word, a revelation of His love for them, who He is, and who they are in Christ. Agree with us for the work that has begun in the women's life in recovery to be completed. May their faith increase, their minds be renewed and bodies healed from the traumas and injustices they have survived. And finally, please keep the BFA staff and volunteers physical and spiritual health lifted up as they serve tirelessly educating, advocating, reaching, rescuing and restoring.
